Just to clarify, this place is inside the 168 market, right at the entrance. Service is really friendly and accomodating. i ordered pad thai and asked for it to be spicy. food comes out very quickly and piping hot. they cook everything to order. my pad thai was spicy, sweet, savory and sour. noodles were cooked perfectly. i also tried the pad see ew, which was good. this is my new favorite thai food spot.

Not sure if this place is being gate kept but since they are inside the 168 Market at Colima and Azusa, some may never venture inside to find them. Super friendly staff and I started with the Thai desserts which are all very good. They do a durian sticky rice as well as the traditional mango sticky rice. The coconut cream can be a bit salty to some but you want the sweet and savory contrast. If you like durian, there aren't many places that make a durian sticky rice. I'm also a fan of the black rice and taro dessert. Also tried many of the staple Thai dishes like pad see ew, paneng curry (they make it with pumpkin which adds sweetness), ka prow and drunken noodles with spaghetti (which can also be made with flat rice noodles) Only caveat is that they use the Thai spicy scale so order with caution. Mild is fine with me as it still has a kick. They also do catering and prices seem very fair so keep them in mind for parties or work events.

Lucky Thai Street Food offers delicious, affordable and most important of all, authentic Thai food. We love the smell and strong flavor of all the dishes (pork skewers, Kai Kua, Ka Pow, and salted fish fried rice). The Thai ice tea was refreshing too. Their entire staff was personable and friendly. We can see our food being prepared and they came out quickly. Ambiance is comfortable, cozy and mom-n-pop atmosphere inside 168 Market. We love Thai food so we will come back again in the future. Highly recommended!
